Contractor Information

Because Deliciosó Ice Cream only hires licensed culinary contractors, in order to join our team a person must be certified, knowledgeable, and proficient regarding the following:

  • Food Handler 
  • Kitchen Management 
  • Food Allergen 
  • Frozen Dessert Prep
  • Customer Service  

~Certification

  1. Certification from either SafeServe, Alison, eFoodCard, Trust20, or KRG Hospitality for the following fields or a field closely related thus complementary. If you cannot afford to take such courses on your own, we also have course options for hardship situations

~Ice Cream

  1. Proficient Knowledge of Rolled Ice Cream 

After receiving proper training materials and studying them, a presentation of acts performed in the that instructional video will be asked of said contractor to recreate them in-person thus make sure you he/she has proficient knowledge of CDC policies

~FDA / CDC Criteria

  1. Knowledge of Restaurant Guidelines according to FDA official website

(Though most of these are testimonials, keep in mind that questions will be asked in-person from any information contained in the following videos to make sure you have proficient knowledge of all applicable CDC policies) 

(Although these tools are listed, you may provide additional or not all of the tools to give your particular customers a complete Idea of your vision for frozen desserts / food. Keep in mind however due to customer satisfaction the hours that you set for yourself can be denied if another contractor with higher customer satisfaction decides to take a certain job, workdays, or returning customer)

  • Metal Ice cream Scooper (metal is preferred because plastic could shatter causing cohesiveness issues regarding product distribution / cross-contamination)
